The inspiration to the name MADAM STOLTZ comes from India · as so much else in the life of creator Pernille Stoltz. In a partnership with her husband Peter Bundgaard. Pernille is the designer and responsible for the ethical sourcing of suppliers in India and China. Peter looks after the logistics and the finances. Their head Office is in a former furniture factory in Nexø, situated in the east coast of Bornholm, it has been completely renovated and is now the base for Pernille, Peter and their 25 employees not forgetting their little dog Carlo, doing his best to keep the stress level down. Pernille Stoltz has built up a very close and long lasting co-operation with her Indian suppliers that produce her wonderful designs. Her journeys to India fills her with inspiration. Inspiration which is again turned into ideas and product developments. Pernille was the first to give us face pots, which have become one of biggest trends on the home front.
