Silky Double Sheepskin Rust

Our sheepskins are of premium quality, sustainably and ethically sourced with a super soft thick pile of fur. They are very hard wearing  and versatile and can be used on the floor, sofas and chairs and are perfect for garden furniture in the summer months.

As these are a natural product that have been dyed colours may vary slightly from sheepskin to sheepskin.

Care: Strong direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent UV damage to the natural fibres and dye colours. Also to prevent damage to the leather pelt storage in damp or wet conditions should be avoided. Regular brushing willalso  help maintain and bring out best in the wool fibres.

Cleaning: Spot clean small stains and light soiling with a clean damp cloth and light wool detergent. Dry Cleaning is however recommended for more thorough cleaning. The sheepskin can also be hand or machine washed in cool water (35°C) using wool approved detergent and gentle wool cycle. However, machine or hand washing may affect the appearance of the natural wool fibres and the leather pelt.  After washing, the natural wool may revert back to its curly state, but brushing with either a wire wool comb or brush while wet and after drying will help restore the fluffy appearance and lift fibres.

Products with cotton or other backing material are generally not suitable for machine or hand washing but dry cleaning is recommended for these.
